On Wednesday 29th May 2024, Hon. Abdoulie Njai attended the historic launching of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund – Banjul.
The Bloomberg Philanthropies Youth Climate Action Fund is an innovative program for youth-led and/or youth focused organizations powered by United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and Bloomberg Centre for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University. The first phase of this project involves a $50,000 micro-grant fund catering to climate action solutions. We encourage the youth of Banjul to take advantage of this huge opportunity which will not only provide financial support but technical assistance as well from local and international experts.
Big congratulations to Banjul City Council BCC under visionary leadership of Lord Mayor Rohey Malick Lowe for making this important project a reality. We look forward to yet another successful project implementation.
